Varyag, crucero protegido ruso. Zvezda 1/350 (11)

Ya he comenzado a realizar los ocho pescantes que van más a la zona de proa. Cada pescante está realizado con 6 piezas de fotograbados y la base de plástico del propio kit.

Como os dije ayer mi pensamiento para realizar la escena es colocar el Varyag en el Ártico. Bueno pues hoy quería descansar un poco del Varyag y me he puesto a realizar pruebas del mar para ver como quedará en la escena. Para ello he usado una figura de Verlinden a escala 1/35 llamada “U.S. Navy Pilot in Dinghy (Pacific WWII)” para probar todos los productos que tengo pensado utilizar. El primer paso es imprimar toda la pieza pero como he dicho antes mi intención es el mar, no la figura en sí, ya en su momento ya la acabaré. Las siguientes capas del mar se han hecho con diferentes tonalidades de azules y grises mediante aerografo. Luego se han utilizado los productos de la marca Vallejo "Water Effects Azul Pacifico" y "Foam Snow", éste último para dar el efecto de las crestas de las olas. Para acabar le he dado una capa de barniz cerámico de la marca "Quilosa Sintex". Mañana cuando esté todo seco ya veré donde debería de retocar. ¿Que os parece como queda el mar?

As I said yesterday my thought for the scene is to place the Varyag in the Arctic. Well today I wanted to rest some of the Varyag and I've put sea testing to see how it will be on the scene. The first step is to prime the entire piece but as I said before, my intention is the sea, not the figure itself, and at the time and I'll finish. The following layers of the sea have been made with different shades of blue and gray with airbrush.
