Varyag, crucero protegido ruso. Zvezda 1/350 (17)

Finished painting and ocean waves at the scene of Varyag. Still trying with two different cameras and mobile can not get the various colors that are out, especially in stern and bow. When the Varyag is completely finished I will try to take pictures with better color sharpness. It has put a coat of gloss varnish when dry start tomorrow to give the layers of ceramic glaze. Then a small aged Varyag and finish the entire rigging and maneuvering the Varyag. It has already made the identification plate of the Varyag but written in Russian. It has been painted plate with black plastic base XF1 and dry brush in points with the copper color XF6.

Varyag, crucero protegido ruso. Zvezda 1/350 (15)

I continue with the scene of Varyag. Today the layers of colors that I used for the sea I teach, is pending layers of ceramic glaze and paint in white all areas of waves and ridges around the ship, that will take place when the ship is positioned and permanently. In the first picture the dried paper was placed yesterday, pity that the paper was not completely white (I had some pictures of blue flowers), because he had been very good with the background layer at the time had shown only to retouch some areas had served with blue. The last color used (the black XF1) is to match the colors, for it has become a mixture of alcohol with a few drops of black color. So far we have applied a layer of wax to polish parquet and above the most important unifying colors and that when the ceramic paint with no varnish colors come together as this varnish paint attacks. I have also done the first layer of the base frame in black color to unify it with the same scene.

Varyag, crucero protegido ruso. Zvezda 1/350 (14)

I continue with the progress at the scene of Varyag. Second and third layer of paper to the sea, but this time I used the toilet paper instead of tissues because it is much better to make ripples and waves including peak fine thanks to this role is the sink. Tomorrow when it's dry I'll start with paint colors which predominate black to dark blue colors typical of the Arctic. While these layers are drying paper I've begun maneuvers Varyag, pretty complicated for not having plans which accurately reflected the situation of each maneuver.

Varyag, crucero protegido ruso. Zvezda 1/350 (13)
