Varyag, crucero protegido ruso. Zvezda 1/350 (12)

Top Varyag scene. Right now I'm on the subject of ice, snow and iceberg. Pictures do not do as merit is in reality where the color scheme looks great, however I can not take photos in those shades, I guess it's because of the camera. First it's stuck at the base of sea tissues to be giving way to the sea, then made a brown sand with airbrush primer, after playing with different shades of blue and mixed with white I've made the paint layers with airbrush, focusing on low and hidden parts with stronger blue colors. After time has been given two coats of ceramic glaze with airbrush, there are still more layers to give the total brightness in the whole area of ice, but for that we must wait 10 hours to dry. At the top of the icy mountain I put snow made with baking soda and parquet wax as a base and then I was put back only to finish baking with a layer of ceramic coating to make it fully unified.

I've been asked that since I made the cut of the mountain to make it this way for this I used the saw electric hand cutting Porexpan brand Proxxon. Short Porexpan very well without leaving marks or other balls in the polystyrene, or pasted from the heat after cutting. That if you leave a few threads to be sanded before continuing with the theme of the painting. The cut was made without thinking giving orders or tilting as seen in less than 30 seconds and was made around the court with these forms both in the mountains and in the icerberg.
